At 4,000 sf (370 m²), this full-floor loft is located in the core of Manhattan’s East Village, offering sweeping 360° panoramic city views. To amplify the space’s inherent openness, the design preserves exposed concrete plank ceilings and organizes the overall layout around a translucent structural core, gently separating public and private zones while maintaining uncompromised spatial breadth.
A sculptural honeycomb panel system clads the central truss, consolidating all private programs — bathrooms, walk-in closets, and powder rooms — within a single unified volume. The primary bathroom adopts seamless fiber-reinforced waterproof plaster, sculpting the sink, shower, and bathtub into a continuous integrated surface. Complementary bent walnut woodwork creates organic niches and warm material boundaries, lining the library and bedroom spaces while flowing seamlessly into the open communal living area.
