At 1,320 sf (125 m²), this penthouse on Manhattan’s Upper West Side merges architecture and custom furniture into a cohesive whole. The design removes disjointed dividing partitions to form smooth transitions between public and private zones, boosting interior usability while framing panoramic city views under a consistent spatial atmosphere.

A sculptural folded wall acts as the central spatial backbone, stretching seamlessly from the living room into the kitchen. Highlighted by recessed lighting, it doubles as open display shelving in the lounge and hidden storage closets for the master bedroom. Finished with titanium epoxy and walnut veneer, the wall works alongside silver-textured ceilings to deepen spatial depth.

This structural element extends continuously into kitchen cabinetry, a breakfast bar and utility station; a curved metal shelf flows naturally into the cooking countertop, balancing unified aesthetics and daily functionality.
