With a total area of 4,000 sf (370 m²), this residential renovation by Archi-Tectonics refreshes the existing interior and installs sculptural fencing throughout the entire property. The project remodels bathrooms and kitchen-dining areas into bright, tranquil spaces defined by natural materials and subtle playful details. Original classic architectural features are elevated with modern Vola brass fixtures and Forbes & Lomax brass switches. Elegant neutral stone surfaces are accented by luxury Articolo glass lighting, while custom furniture balances the home’s traditional character with contemporary urban living.
Responding to the site’s rolling topography and the client’s creative preferences, the design abandons conventional rigid perimeter fencing around the pool and pond. Ipe hardwood is selected for its exceptional durability and sculptural quality, preserving unobstructed panoramic views. Uniform wooden planks are precisely anchored by slender steel base connections, mimicking and amplifying the natural undulation of the landscape. The rhythmic undulating fence frames the gardens, pond, pool, and residence, maintaining visual transparency while accentuating the site’s natural topography.
